Olga Khokhlova is known for her numerousroles in modern series and full-length and short films. Despite the fact that many of them are episodic, her bright appearance, charisma and inimitable style of acting have made Khokhlov one of the most recognizable artists of our time.
Olga Vladimirovna was born on a winter day December 25, 1965 in a small Siberian town of Angarsk, which is located in the Irkutsk region.
Her mother, being a music school teacher, withChildhood instilled in the daughter a love of music and creativity. And my father worked as an engineer. He comes from the Chelyabinsk region, or rather from the village of Khokhly. Hence the unusual sounding of the surname with an accent on the first syllable: Khkhlova.
Olga Khokhlova attended a music school withpleasure, but she dreamed of becoming an actress. Even in her childhood, a dreamy Olga imagined that when she walks down the street, she secretly shoots a movie camera, then to release a film about her.
After graduating from school, the girl began to move towardsrealization of their dreams. The first step was to enter the Far Eastern Institute of Arts (acting faculty), which was located in Vladivostok. There her main mentor was A. Ya. Mamontov, in whose workshop she studied. After receiving the diploma in 1987, Olga Khokhlova was admitted to Primorsky Krai Academic Theater. Gorky, where she began her acting career.
In the theater everything turned out quite successfully. She was often trusted in the main roles in which she reincarnated in various heroines, each time demonstrating her extraordinary talent. So several theatrical seasons have flown by. And everything seems to be fine, but Olga dreamed of Moscow ...
Moving to Moscow was Olga's conscious decision andher husband Vyacheslav. A loving husband has always supported his wife in all her creative endeavors. The family moved to the capital in a very difficult time (mid-90's). Due to the difficult economic situation in the country, the cinema and theater practically did not release new films and performances. But the purposeful Olga Khokhlova did not lose her hand and, every time going to the next casting, hoped that she was lucky.
One day it happened. She was admitted to the theater "At the Nikitsky Gate." And let not the first line-up, but the first steps to success were made. For several years she plays on the stages of several Moscow theaters: Stanislavsky, Satyricon, Perovskaya, Nikitsky Gates. There were also successful roles, but sometimes not everything turned out as we would like. Learning from her mistakes, Olga sharpened her acting skills, gained valuable experience.
She managed to work for several years in the field ofTV journalism. After two years at the Independent Film and Television School, she receives an offer from Anatoly Gureyev to work in the Vremechko program, which he agrees to.
A little later Cyril Serebrenikov, who at that timetime worked on the production of "Plasticine", invites Olga in her performance. The premiere took place in the Center for Drama and Directing them. A. Kazantseva and M. Roshchina. Olga Khokhlova perfectly coped with the task. Her work was evaluated at the highest level, as a result of which Olga Vladimirovna was nominated for the "Seagull" award. Other successful theatrical works of that time - "Sexual Coating", "Zero Three", "Death of Tarelkin", "Transfer", etc.
The cinema for Khokhlova was the limit of dreams. Of course, I wanted the main roles. But all the episodic roles and supporting roles that Olga Khokhlova performed, the actress carried through herself, giving each, even the smallest, a little bit of a soul. It's always different: it's freakish and funny, sometimes angry and frowned, then quick and unhurried ... Most of the audience remember the works in such projects as "Kotovasiya" (Yadviga), "Stop on Demand" (directrix), "I Love You" (mother of the main character), "Women in the game without rules" (Nyusya), "My beautiful nanny" (teacher of biology) ...
They played victims and witnesses, doctors andsalesmen, dressmakers and tailors ... There really were a lot of roles, but they did not bring much fame. However, Olga continued to hope that the moment will come and she will be recognized on the streets. This happened in 2006. Then the series "Kadetstvo" was released on the screens, the ratings of which were so high that even the actors of the second plan became very popular with the audience. Olga Vladimirovna played in the series the role of Ksyusha's mother (the girls of one of the main characters).
One of the recent works is participation in the TV series "Treason".
Olga Vladimirovna for more than twenty five yearsis in a happy marriage with her husband Vyacheslav, whom they met in Vladivostok. In Vladivostok, their family life began. Vyacheslav is a hereditary sailor, but for the sake of the family he went offshore, got a job in the technological department of one of the city's factories and simultaneously entered the historical faculty of the university. Later he opened his own business.
