Correct spelling of author's abstracts

All new and new requirements for design, liketext, and a list of sources used to write an essay, course or final qualification work, thousands of students are forced to suffer each year. And many do not understand why such attention is given to simple text formatting, if the main thing is content.

Of course, speaking of the list of sources used, you begin to think about the necessary facts, which must be indicated after each of them. Either abstracts of dissertations, educational-methodical and teaching aids, books, directories, dictionaries, each source requires a special approach and compliance with a set of rules. It is worth noting that in different institutions or universities, the rules are different. The only thing that is necessary is to indicate the author, the purpose of the book, the name of the editor, the years of issue, the city and the publishing house, the number of pages in the source.

Much more difficult things are with electronicsources, because most students now take information from the network. You can not just copy the text on the topic from the site and leave a link to the site in the list of sources used. It is necessary to find out who the author of the article is, in what year it was written, whether it is an ordinary article or an extract from a journal, reference book or any other source that sometimes it is impossible to make a network. There is a problem with the fact that sites sometimes move to new services, update information, deleting old articles, that is, if the commission decides to check the electronic source, there is a possibility that it no longer exists.

Also, do not forget that the mention ofthe surname of any person in the work must be accompanied by a reference to the source. That is, in fact, all the names present in the text, regardless of the position of the person and his contribution to any activity, should refer to his own work (respectively, if this is not an analysis of one's own activity using both fictitious and real names) .

Of course, all these unfortunate rules thatEvery year thousands of students try to "bypass", are fully justified. The age of modern technology allows you to find almost any information in the required amount. Most abstracts, reports, coursework are copied from the Internet, even without an attempt at reading, especially analysis. Therefore, that students would somehow interact with information that they themselves find, mandatory rules for execution are required.

And let the real youth who is dealing withreport work now or for those who are waiting for it, it seems that all the formalities are created only to "torment them," in the future they will understand that thanks to these conditions they have acquired an irreplaceable ability to work with text and information today.
