For the treatment of chronic allergies, and forPrevention of symptoms of its development is often used drug "Cetrin". Indications for use can be different: it can be an allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis (both seasonal and chronic), angioedema, chronic recurrent urticaria. Also, this remedy can be used in the complex therapy of allergic and atopic dermatitis.
The drug "Tsetrin" isantihistamine drug of the latest generation, which does not have many side effects and contraindications in the effectiveness of the action. And what is histamine? It is a substance that transmits excitation from one cell to another, that is, it is a natural mediator. It is involved in inflammatory and allergic processes, and is also responsible for the acidity and secretion of gastric juice. The receptors, which are sensitive to histamine, are located on the cells of many tissues, they also provide the spread of an allergic reaction.
These reactions begin with the fact that to the hearthallergies are rushed to leukocytes, which are responsible for the processes of confronting the organism with "dangers from the outside" - eosinophils that promote the development of inflammation, after which the "turn" of histamine comes. The indications available for the "Cetrin" preparation include also a preventive action that prevents the development of an allergic reaction due to the blockage of eosinophil migration at its early stage.
If the allergic reaction has already begun, thenthis agent is able to block these receptors, blocking the access of histamine to other cells and tissues. This is the main action of the medicine. In contrast to the drugs of previous generations, the "Cetrin" remedy, which indications cover a wide range of allergic reactions of various origins, does not exert a retarding effect on the central nervous system and lasts for a long time (about 24 hours).
Histamine, among other things, increasespermeability of blood vessels, which can cause swelling and redness of tissues. The drug "Tsetrin" is able to neutralize this effect and prevent a decrease in blood pressure, which usually occurs with anaphylactic shock. Also this agent facilitates the course of allergies at any stage.
The medicine "Tsetrin", indications for which use is not limited to allergy, can be used to eliminate itching of any origin, since histamine also participates in its formation.
This drug should be used in accordance withwith the instruction, one tablet per day, whether before or after meals. Take a little water with a small amount of water. For children, the "Tsetrin" remedy can be prescribed at half the tablet twice a day. Until the age of six this means should not be used.
The drug "Tsetrin" during pregnancy duringthe first 12 weeks of use is strictly contraindicated, since the development of organs and the laying of the fetal tissues depend on the influence of histamine. It also facilitates the introduction of a fertilized egg into the uterine wall and the development of the embryo. Suppressing histamine can disrupt these processes. In addition, reliable data on the effects of the "Tetrin" and other antihistamines are not available, since there are practically no clinical trials for pregnant women. After a 12-week period with caution, taking into account all indications and contraindications existing to the "Tsetrin" preparation, it is possible to treat allergy with constant monitoring of the attending physician.
Do not take the drug during lactation, soas it stands out with milk. It is also contraindicated to use it for hypersensitivity to composite components. In diseases of the kidneys, accompanied by chronic renal failure, the drug is taken with caution and by no means alone.
