But among the cancers there are those that are cured in most cases. One such type of cancer is a malignant tumor of one or both testicles. Testicular cancer, the symptoms of which are not always pronounced, is treated in 90 percent of the cases out of 100.

Testicular cancer is considered a male disease, sinceThis organ is exclusively for men, is located inside the scrotum and is the keeper of the sperm. Thus, the male sex glands - the testicles are responsible for the reproductive function as a whole.

Age category subject to educationtumors - boys in younger children, as well as men who have reached 34-40 years. Less commonly, the diagnosis of testicular cancer symptoms in elderly men over 70 years of age.

In order to exclude the development of the disease,it is necessary to constantly examine their sexual organs. Mummies who gave birth to boys, it is worth knowing that those children who had one or both testicles not descended into the scrotum after the birth are more likely to be affected.

The main ones for such a disease as testicular cancer,symptoms may be cumulative, or may be absent altogether. For example, the tumor formed in the scrotum does not always indicate the development of an oncological disease, but is the first sign. In later stages, you can find an increase in lymph nodes, as well as the appearance of pain in the groin and lower back.

The most dangerous and rarely curable are consideredsuch types of diseases as a teratoid tumor and embryonic testicular cancer. It is noted that in these types the rate of spread of metastases is significantly higher than in other different forms, since the spread of cancer to all internal organs is rapid enough.

In addition to visual examination of a patient complaining of scrotal formation, other methods of diagnosing testicular cancer are used.

The main method, which allows to identify the disease -blood test. Due to this research, a malignant tumor can be detected even in the absence of the main symptoms of the disease. In the event that the amount of antigens in the blood, for example, such as beta-chorionic gonadotropin or alpha-fetoprotein, is above the norm, it is possible to presume the oncological disease development.

Sufficiently informative is considered and ultrasound examination, which reveals a deviation from the normal size of the testicles and helps to identify the inflammatory process.

Also for the examination of a potential patienta biopsy is used. For the procedure, the tissue of the affected testicle is taken and examined for the presence of cancer cells in it, or the stage of a disease such as testicular cancer. Symptoms detected at an early stage significantly speed up the procedure of the examination and allow the appointment of treatment.

If the diagnosis of testicular cancer is still established, treatmentis appointed based on the degree of damage to the body. The main methods of getting rid of the disease are used traditionally for all types of cancer and are assigned to the patient either individually or in combination. They are:

- surgical intervention;

- chemiotherapy;

- radiation therapy.

All methods have certain negativeconsequences, because, for example, during the course of chemotherapy, the drug is injected intravenously with a drug that kills cancer cells, which in parallel destroys and healthy organs. But when the question is about saving the patient's life, do not neglect this type of treatment.

In conclusion, it is worth noting that, despitefrightening word "cancer", malignant education located on the testicle, is treated quite successfully, and for timely diagnosis you just need to regularly undergo a scheduled diagnostic examination.
