The economy of any country is based on transport. Commodity trains, airplanes, motor ships and the most extensive segment of vehicles are trucks. There are several types and subspecies of road transport: trucks-dump trucks, on-board trucks, auto-refrigerators, multi-ton vehicles and special vehicles on the automobile chassis, such as concrete mixers and fire trucks.
All trucks carry out one task -transport cargo. However, there are modifications of trucks that allow to bring equipment as close as possible to operating conditions. In large quarries of the mining industry, huge dump trucks "BelAZ" are involved, the carrying capacity of which is 25-27 tons. Giants successfully work on transportation of ore and minerals within the limits of career development. However, the modification of cars makes it possible to create such BelAZ vehicles that, if necessary, can carry cargo for long distances (the speed on the highway for cars of this class is up to 64 km / h).
Smaller dump trucks - KamAZ, MAZ, KrAZ andsimilar brands - can accommodate in their body from 12 to 18 tons of coal, cement or crushed stone, as well as any other loose building materials. The plants provide for the modification of cars with lateral unloading, with a deep body or an elongated body profile. Autosamplers are easy to use, they have the highest efficiency. Used in local areas for freight traffic at short distances. Transportation of goods for long distances falls on another category of cars - flatbed trucks.
Until 1976 in the USSR, all freight transport bythe country fell on the car park ZIL (plant named after Likhachev) and GAZ (Gorky Automobile Plant). At these plants, production is being carried out, and cars are also being modified. All known ZIL-130 was the most common carrier, reliable and unpretentious, it almost did not break. In parallel, the cars of the GAZ family worked (they were no less reliable GAZ-51 and GAZ-52, which were also produced in several modifications). In the early seventies there was a shortage of freight transport in the country. In this regard, in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny, the auto-giant KamAZ (Kamsky Automobile Plant) plant was built, which began to produce diesel trucks.
At present, KamAZ produces a number ofdiesel trucks and simultaneously with the production of a modification of the KamAZ car. So, for example, there are 12 modifications among on-board vehicles, including "Mustang-4326" and low-profile "43253". Also produced are truck tractors 44108, 5460 and others - only 6 modifications; dump trucks 43255, 45141, 53605, as well as 45142 and 45143 (agricultural) - only 12 modifications. A separate production produces about 20 modifications of low-profile chassis for military equipment. And finally, KamAZ sports cars come off the factory conveyor periodically (codes 4911, 4925 and 4926-9, which successfully compete in various competitions, such as the rally-marathon Paris-Dakar.) The modification of cars significantly expands the capabilities of the entire car fleet on transportation of cargoes.
