Any electrician will tell you that without availabilityadditional equipment and additional materials, his work would be almost impossible. Take, for example, such a thing as a nylon screed. It seems, at first glance, not so important. However, with its help, the work of an electrician is somewhat accelerated and its quality is increased.
So, what is a nylon screed? This is the subject, which is primarily designed for clamping cable bundles, but we'll talk about the functionality a little later. Initially, it should be noted that nylon ties are made of polyamide or nylon. The main advantage of this material is its fire resistance. That is, in the case of high temperature screeds, nylon will not melt. By the way, in a different way these screeds are called cable clamps, or simply clamps.
Now we move to the construction. Screed nylon is a fairly narrow and sufficiently flexible strip, consisting, as already mentioned above, of polyamide or nylon. On the one side of the screed there is a special lock, and its inner side has protrusions with denticles. When tightening, such protrusions do not allow the lock to open.
As for the width, here thebe not so significant. However, in this case, the importance of each millimeter increases. After all, this directly affects the tensile load, which the clamp can withstand. Thus, the screed with a width of 2.4 mm can withstand about 8 kg, and a screed with a width of 9 mm is able to hold 80 kg already.
Well, you need to say that the ties are nylonThere are two types: disposable and reusable. Or, as they are properly called, non-detachable and unlockable. It should be noted that the use of the first option fully justifies itself in the economic plan.
