There are gardeners, the meaning of life is an orchid. Reproduction of these plants for them is the best pastime.

The orchid breeds in several ways:

- Cuttings - the most common method amongall the rest. This way you can get more orchid plants. Reproduction by cuttings can be carried out with any shoots. In order to propagate an orchid by cuttings, the lateral shoots, even old and long ones, are perfect. You can also use peduncles that have already faded. From the selected stalk cut, cut, the length of it should be at least ten and, preferably, not more than fifteen centimeters. All the cuttings are placed in pots with a substrate (nothing is poured on top). Then the containers are placed in a heated greenhouse. After a while cuttings should take root.

- Babies are formed on the mother plant. Some time after the babies appeared on the uterine plant, they (the children) should have roots. These babies are separated from the mother plant and planted in a separate pot. You need to look after them, as well as for older plants.

- Reproduction by layers. This method is one of the varieties of propagation by cuttings. In order for the orchids to multiply in this way, fill empty pots with soil mixture and bend the shoots so that they fit tightly to the substrate. After the roots of the brood appear, they should be separated from the mother plant.

- Division of a bush is one of the ways thatallows you to get just a few bushes of a plant called orchid. Reproduction of this beauty consists in the following: a bush is divided so that on each separated part there were roots (minimum five-seven pieces), and also sprouts (a minimum of three pieces). The slices of the sections are treated with a slightly pink solution of potassium permanganate and they are sprinkled with coal, previously ground. If all these conditions were met, then the plant will soon take root, will start to grow and bloom.

- Reproduction by seeds. In this way it is very difficult to get a good result at home. In order to propagate by seeds, it is necessary that the pots and equipment used in the sowing process are sterile, otherwise nothing will come out. As a substrate, moss with an admixture of leaf earth is used. Preliminarily, the substrate needs to be moistened. Seeds are sown along the surface of the soil mixture. Then the crops are taken to a room with a temperature of twenty to twenty-five degrees and with a sufficiently high humidity. Irrigation is carried out by means of spraying. After the appearance of two or three sheets, the plant should be discarded. Picks are held three times, the last time young plants are planted in pots, where they will grow constantly.

- Reproduction by bulbots. This way can be used when the orchid has faded. Reproduction can be carried out only with mature bulbs. They are separated from the mother plant, then planted in a pot, which is prepared in advance. In the room where the bulbs are planted and germinated, there must be a very high humidity and a temperature within twenty to twenty-two degrees. It is necessary to try, that the temperature never falls below a mark in twenty degrees. If you follow the recommendations, then in a couple of weeks you will have new troubles - planting young plants in separate pots.

Despite all the difficulties of reproduction, the favoritemany remains an orchid. Reproduction of the plant in a variety of ways, it is necessary to choose the method that suits you and, after painstaking work, to enjoy the excellent result.
