Homemade concrete mixer - a faithful assistant in the construction

We put the barrel on its side and cut out the lid. Its width should be slightly larger than the width of the shovel, and the length should be 2/3 of the barrel's length. We fasten the cover with the help of loops, make a few latches and be sure to put on a rubber band that will prevent the water from escaping.

On the lid and the bottom of the barrel we mark the center and makeholes. Push our tank to prepare the solution for the pipe. With the help of welding attach it to the blade for mixing. The protruding parts of the pipe are bent in the form of handles, on the ends of which we put on special linings from the old bicycle handlebars. The place of connection of the shaft and the barrel is closed with rubber or silicone pads.

To the sides of the barrel are welded several doorhandles. With their help, you can easily turn the container with the finished solution and pour it into a prepared container. Now we mount the barrel on the goats, in the upper points of which holes for the pipe (shaft) are provided. Our self-made concrete mixer is ready. Working with a partner, you can cook 2 - 3 cubic meters of solution per day in it.

To simplify the process as much as possiblesolution preparation, an electric concrete mixer is used. Homemade construction is assembled on the basis of a metal barrel. A small analogue of it can be made from a milk flask.

Having a manual concrete mixer from a metal barrel,you can improve its design by adding a small but powerful engine. To do this, the gear is attached to the handle. The engine, equipped with a suitable size gear, is attached to a special side shelf. The working shaft of the concrete mixer is driven by a belt connecting the gears on the engine and the barrel. The only condition for the smooth operation of this design is the presence of electricity. If it is not feasible, then instead of an electric motor, use a gasoline engine or a motor-block.

Interesting design is obtained from milkflasks. In the bottom we make a small hole in which we insert the shaft. The electric motor is fixed to the bottom with a few bolts. Inside the flask we insert the blades and fix them on the shaft with the help of welding. The cover of our concrete mixer already exists.

Therefore, it remains only to produce for itbase. For this we make two triangles from the metal corner. We connect them with several transverse bars forming the bottom. Orienting on the shoulders of the flask, make two holes. We put it on the pipe, which we fix in the upper points of the metal goats. After preparing a portion of the solution, it is enough to turn the jar to fill the container prepared beforehand.
