Boil 2 liters of water and dissolve in it 100 g of salt. Pour the resulting solution of cucumber, seal the jar with a plastic lid and leave for a couple of days. Then drain the water, boil it again, add garlic to the jars, refill the brine in them and roll them up with metal covers.

It is best to harvest cucumbers for the winterin the marinade. For canning, take 2 and 3-liter cans, wash them and sterilize. For 5 liters of water (this is approximately 3 three-liter cans of cucumbers), you need 7 tablespoons of salt and 5 sugars, 1/3 cup of 6% vinegar. In addition, spices will be needed: 2 currant leaves, horseradish root, a pair of dill umbrellas, 3 cloves of garlic, 4 cloves and 6 peas of black pepper. The water is heated, it is poured into it with salt and sugar and boiled until completely dissolved. Cucumbers and seasoning are put in cans. Filter the solution through the gauze and fill them with filled cans. After about 20 minutes, the water is drained from the cans, boiled again and again, the cucumbers are poured and rolled up.

Salted and pickled cucumbers are not the only possible harvesting of cucumbers for the winter. Very tasty is a cucumber salad with vegetables.

For preparation it is required (per liter jar): 8-10 small cucumbers, 4 cloves of garlic, 2 medium carrots and 2 onions, 4 peas of pepper, bay leaf and 2 teaspoons of dried dill seeds (or 1 fresh dill umbrella). Purified carrots are ground on a coarse grater. Washed cucumbers cut into circles, and onions - thin rings. The can is filled with layers: cucumbers, carrots, onions, again cucumbers, again carrots, and so on until the whole pot is filled. Between the layers uniformly lay seasoning and spices. Pour marinade - per liter of water take 0.5 cups of salt, a glass of sugar and half a cup of 9% of vinegar. Marinade is boiled and poured into them jars of vegetables.
