The monetary system of the Republic of Belarus has recently suffered severe changes. The denomination has passed. Citizens of the Republic of Belarus for the first time took in hands the money of a new sample.
New money was introduced into circulation: banknotes and coins. The size of the banknotes is 150X74 mm and does not differ from the old-style bills. Their semantic content, national patterns did not change at all. Only the design is made in European style.
All banknotes were printed in 2009. This is evidenced by the signature of the head of the National Bank PP Prokopovich and the use of the old word "pjatsjesat" instead of the current "pjatsjasayut." All these errors will be corrected when manufacturing the subsequent batch of money.
From the statement of the head of the National BankIt is known that Belarus does not plan the construction of its mint. This is due to the fact that its production is very expensive and unprofitable for such a small state.
The money signs had to be put into circulationbefore. But this did not happen because of inflation in the Republic of Belarus and the global economic crisis. The cost of making money has almost paid off. Remained the cost of reconfiguring ATMs and other equipment, the implementation of changes in accounting, the exchange of banknotes.
In connection with the denomination, in monetary circulationcoins appeared. This happened for the first time in the history of the Belarusian ruble. Previously, the Republic of Belarus was considered a state in which only commemorative coins were printed. Money consists of small, large kopecks and several rubles.
In total, eight coins appeared in circulation. They were issued in a circulation of 35,000 units. The money symbols are divided into three colors. The obverse of all the money in the new sample is the same. On it there is the coat of arms of the Republic of Belarus and the figures "2009". The coins are reversed. The denomination and ornament of banknotes are different.
National patterns and weaving are the main symbolsstate. Therefore, it is not by chance that even the flag of the Republic of Belarus contains elements of these symbols in its design. With the help of them, Belarusian masters display their patriotic feelings for the family, people, land, traditions, nature.
Money was minted at the mints in Lithuania andSlovakia. Coins of Belarus in shape, design and dignity are reminiscent of Soviet currency. Therefore, there is no confusion when using them. Money has an attractive view. They are made of lightweight materials and have a low weight.
The disadvantages of the new coins of Belarus, however, possess. The quality of money depends on the properties of the metals used. They can be prone to oxidation. They were kept in storage for a long time, and some stains appeared on some of the banknotes. Local spots on the solvency of money do not affect. Similar situations occurred with coins of other countries.
The National Bank has already issuedcirculation of a certain amount of money to replace such coins. The small coins of Belarus (the photo shows this nuance well) have a small size, compared to the money of other states, and are inconvenient for use.
The Mint issued two types of money: 1 and 2 rubles. They are made of white metal. Monetary signs in 2 rubles have a rim of gold metal. The reverse depicts face value and ornament, which personifies the aspiration of the Belarusian people for happiness, for freedom. All ornaments on the money are different, but their meaning is the same. The coins are coarse.
Money signs in 1 ruble are made of steel with a copper-nickel covering. The money signs in 2 rubles are made of bimetal: the middle is steel, the edges are steel with copper-brass coating.
The Mint produced three types of largebanknotes: 50, 20, 10 kopecks and three types of small coins: 5, 2, 1 kopeck. Large coins of Belarus have a golden hue. On the obverse of kopecks the same image as all the money. On the reverse side, large coins bear a face value and ornament that embodies the fertility and vitality of the Belarusian land. Edge of bank notes is ribbed with segments. They are made of steel with a copper-brass coating.
Small coins have a copper shade. On the reverse, they depict face value and ornament, which personifies the prosperity and wealth of the Belarusian people. Edge of money is smooth. Small banknotes are made of steel with a copper coating.
Coins appeared in the country for the first time for the wholehistory of existence of the Belarusian ruble, but have already entered into circulation. Despite its small shortcomings, all issued coins of the Republic of Belarus are legitimate payment means of this state.
