Inkjet printers have spread fromAmerican company Hewlett-Packard, although Japanese specialists (Epson, Canon) also worked on the development. The printhead (PG) is the most complex and expensive device. According to the position and duration of its operation, printers can be conditionally divided into three large groups.
Types and features
A similar concentration of technological innovationsthe main mechanism of inkjet printing has led to the fact that the cartridges in the cheapest models are estimated at almost half of the total cost of the printer, which is absolutely unprofitable for intensive use of the product. In order to somehow reduce costs, it is necessary to master the procedure for refilling cartridges.
The device of ink-jet cartridges
In any printer, the printing unit consists of two parts:
- ink tank;
- a capillary system, supplying ink to the nozzles, and from there, "firing" them on paper.
The printhead is the most important part of the unit. Modern cartridges are often equipped with embedded chips, which control the consumption of ink to combat their reuse.
They are referred to the group of standard (simple) and theysuitable for printing simple text, with low resolutions. There are also specialty ink for high-quality printing, but they are expensive, and they are not suitable for refilling in handicrafts.
The print head will work longer ifWhen refilling with ink from an original manufacturer, the cartridge is pre-cleaned thoroughly and rinsed. For this, distilled water or special liquids that do not contain alkali are used. If the type of ink does not change during refueling, it is recommended not to wait for the cartridge to empty and refuel it in a timely manner.
