the art of the household - how to iron the shirt correctly.

Every self-respecting man has in hiswardrobe shirts, that's just not enough to take care of them. For example, not every gentleman knows how to iron a shirt! As in any process, ironing has an algorithm, which I will now describe. The general principle for ironing shirts is that first small parts are ironed, and only then larger ones. Before you iron the shirt, you need to prepare a working place. Ideally, this is a good ironing board with an undeformed, flat surface. In extreme cases, the table covered with a large bath towel is also suitable. The iron for qualitative ironing should be equipped with a steam generator (this is when pressing a button through the holes on the heated surface of the iron produces a uniform flow of steam, and not a bundle of steam emerging through the nozzle). If there is no such iron in the house, use the usual household, however make sure that it is with a non-stick coating. The best way to iron is undried things, when they are still slightly damp. However, if you are already late and the thing is ideally dry, then it's worth it to moisten. To do this, before you iron the shirt, sprinkle it with water and put it in a bag for a couple of minutes. Note that special attention when spraying with water deserves the processing of the sleeve of the shirt. So, the workplace is ready, the shirt is moistened, now we heat the iron to the desired temperature. For cotton it will be 150 degrees Celsius, for flax 220, and for those who want to iron polyester, you have to set the sensor to 110 degrees.

So, we proceed directly to the process, butbefore this, I repeat once more and will answer the question - how to iron the shirt. Remember, we begin to iron from parts that have a smaller area - these are collars of any model, racks, any kinds of cuffs. Iron try to drive along the share line - then the fabric will not undergo stretching. First we iron the collar, grabbing and racking. One small, but very valuable trick: treat the edge of the rack so that it remains bent inward, and then stroke the cuffs. By the way, this process can differ depending on what kinds of cuffs you need to iron. If the cuffs are ordinary, then just iron them first from inside, and then outside. But if they are made under cufflinks, you will first have to iron the cuffs completely, and then bend them and iron the front part.

At the end - we proceed to the sleeves. You can use a special ironing board for ironing them, however, if there is not one, we can do the standard smoothing. To do this, put the sleeve on the surface so that the seam looks up. Let's iron it. Now shift the sleeve, the seam should be exactly on the side. Let's iron it. We turn the sleeve the third time, now the button strip should look up. Again, stroking, and after - iron the floors. They should be ironed in turn, very carefully, qualitatively, methodically "floating" on them with an iron.

Exercise extreme caution and virtuosity, bypassing the buttons. It is very important to iron the armhole well (this is the place where the sleeve connects with the hollow). Do not forget to iron the coquette and the area under the collar. Place at the bottom of the rack pay special attention, because it depends on how the shirt will sit when you dress it. Check. If there are special pockets in the collar, then there must be inserted plates, which will give it stiffness. That's all, the shirt is ready for you to wear it!

You can iron several shirts at once, andthen just take care of their proper storage. There are a few simple rules that will keep the shirts perfectly pressed even with prolonged storage: each shirt must hang on separate shoulders in a spacious closet, nothing should hinder it and threaten folds. For this, there should be distances between the shoulders in 5-6 centimeters.
