What is civil society?

Today, a lot is said about civil society. Who is talking about him? Yes, everyone is not too lazy: politicians during their agitation, representatives of the opposition, who assure us that everything in our country is not quite as it should be, various contemporary figures and so on.

It is not necessary to think that civil society isa society whose representatives are citizens, since in reality it is something more. In fact, this is a self-government sphere founded by citizens, which appeared by itself, that is, without interference from the state authorities.

The concept of civil society

If you look at what they say from the screensTV sets are our rulers, we can conclude that they are seriously thinking about creating such a society. Yes, it exists in many countries: why should Russia be an exception?

They say a lot about it, but the problem was as it was, andremains that not everyone understands what is at stake. As well as many years ago the first persons of the country can not explain anything plainly. What is civil society and why should it be built at all? Let's try to figure this out together. It has special distinctive features that need to be considered separately.

Civil society is a society in whichthe rights of not only privileged persons, but also of all others are respected. It is often said that we are all equal, but is it really so? Look around: the rich accept the poor for working cattle, unable to either think or show any feelings, those people who get their hands on power begin to think only of their further enrichment, and they do not care about the problems of all others.

Resources are allocated incorrectly. Because of this, it turns out that people are unequal. Infringement of rights is still common.

Civil society is characterized byexecution of private interests. How to understand this? The fact is that we live in a state to which we must obey. Yes, submission is mandatory, but the state can not and should not have full power over citizens, just like the right to interfere in people's thoughts, impose their ideas on them, and decide for them something.

Civil society has the same basis aspluralism. Under it is accepted to understand something like multi-truth. The point is that you need to correctly treat the fact that the opinion of someone may not coincide with your own opinion. Members of civil society respect each other's opinions.

Infringement of someone due to property status, education level, nationality and all such is unacceptable.

It is very important and such a sign of civilsociety, as self-management. People should be able to realize what they think about. What is the use of great ideas, if no one ever tries to implement them? From all sides they shout that we live in a democratic society. What is democracy? This is the people's government, this is where the issues concerning the future of the country are decided not by individuals, but by all people together.

Note that self-government today is developed, but it is not developed as we would like. Most people still do not understand how you can influence people in power.

Civil society is associated with economicwell-being. There should be no gap between the poor and the rich. A person, when retiring, should know that he will have the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved rest, and teachers and doctors, finding a job, should feel that the salary will be equal to the significance of their work.

Is civil society possible in modern Russia? A difficult question, since the situation in our country is still not the best, and politicians are only able to think about themselves.
