Step 1. Select the curriculum

Step 2. Deadline for submission of documents

Below we consider the deadlines for submitting documents for programs taught in English and Russian.

1st of May - for entrants-citizens of states that are not members of the European Union.

The deadline for submission of documents to the site on a contract basis - July 15, both for citizens of the European Union, and for citizens of other countries.

Online submission of documents is available for all programs, except for medicine and dentistry.

Step 3. Entrance fee

The cost of the application is 100 euros. Online application will be considered only after payment of the entrance fee. If you do not enter the university, this fee is not refundable.

Step 4. Requirements for filing an application

To apply for entrants must attach the documents listed below.

The first is documents on the education received. For admission to bachelor's programs, Russian entrants must submit the following documents:

  • certificate of secondary (full) education;
  • attachment to the certificate;
  • certificate of the results of the unified state examination.

For admission to the master's program:

  • Bachelor's degree.

If at the time of application the applicant is in the last year of school or university, you must provide the latest data on academic performance and a certificate with the date of receipt of the diploma.

The second is a motivation letter. To the application it is necessary to attach a motivation letter in the size from 1200 to 4000 characters.

Third - a certificate of knowledge of the language. For training programs taught in English: IELTS 5.5+, iBT TOEFL 65+.

If the native language of the applicant is English, or he received an English diploma before, a certificate is not required.

For educational programs taught in Russian: confirmation of Russian language skills at C1 level.

If the native language of the applicant is Russian, or he previously received a diploma in Russian, proof of language knowledge is not required.

The following documents:

  1. Receipt for payment of the entrance fee.
  2. Letter of recommendation (for undergraduate programs - 1, for master's programs - 2).
  3. A certified copy of the passport.

The entrance exams are not required.

Step 5. Requirements for documents

All documents in a language other than English,Lithuanian or Russian, should be supplemented by an official translation. Documents in English, Lithuanian or Russian do not require translation and should be supplemented only with certified copies.

Step 6. Results of the reception

After the final submission of the online application, alldocuments are processed. The final results of enrollment are announced after 40 working days after the deadline. Successful applicants receive letters of admission to the university.

Admission criteria: assessment, motivation letter, English language test (for programs in English) and, if necessary, experience in the chosen curriculum.

Students are required to confirm whether they accept the university offer of admission within 7 working days.

Step 7. Tuition Fees

After confirming your decision on admission, you must transfer the fee for the first year of study.

After receiving payment, the university prepares the documents required for visa processing, and sends them to the student.

Step 8. Lithuanian visa

After receiving the necessary documents from Vilnius University, you must apply for a national visa at the nearest Lithuanian consulate.

Step 9. Reservation of accommodation in the hostel

One of the most important issues that need to be addressed before the start of the school year is the issue of residence. All foreign students can apply for accommodation in a university dormitory.
