How many places in Russia, of which modernthe tourist does not know anything, well, or almost does not know anything. Here, for example, is the island of Ricorda. An amazing and unusual name, which can easily be misleading. Well, indeed, the first thing that comes to mind when you hear something like this - some resort in Spain, Italy or, finally, Portugal, but not in our country. Well, perhaps, it is worth studying this place in more detail.
The island of Rikorda (Primorsky Krai) is locatednear the city of Vladivostok, only 32 km to the south, in the Bay of Peter the Great. The name of the island was in honor of PI Rikord - the admiral of the Russian fleet, seafarer and statesman. The total area is 5 km2, and the maximum height above sea level reaches 178 meters.
More details about the island will be lower, but first it is worth telling how you can get here.
So, how can you get to the island of Ricorda? Vladivostok - this is the key point, because from it to the place closest to everything, actually from this and need to build on.
You can get to Vladivostok in several ways, but the fastest and best is, of course, an airplane. Travel time from, for example, Moscow will be just over 8 hours, and the ticket price starts from 13 thousand rubles.
You can get to Vladivostok and by train thatwill be clearly cheaper than an air flight, but for a lower cost will have to pay time. As already mentioned above, on the plane from Moscow the whole road will take a little more than 8 hours, but in the case of the train - it's 7 days, i.e. whole week!
Of course, the easiest way to get to Vladivostok is fromthe nearest settlements and cities. For example, from Ussuriysk on the road A-370 you can get to the place in only 1 hour 10 minutes, and from Nakhodka for 3 hours. Naturally, further distance only increases, and with it the time in transit, so that from more remote regions to go by car here does not make sense.
So, after arriving at the place there is a goodthe question is, how do you get to the island itself? And this is not so simple as it might seem at first glance. If there are ferries and public boats before the Reineke and Popov Islands, there is no Ricorda. The only way to get to the island is a private boat, and here there are 2 options where to find it.
The first is to ask someone to take you and after a certain time they were taken back, of course, for a certain fee.
The second is to contact a travel company andbuy a tour for a few days. The problem is only that when the tourist season ends, then wishing to go to the island is becoming scarce, and travel agencies very rarely carry out transportation. The best time to visit is July or August.
As for the price, the one-day tour will cost about 3000 rubles or slightly less. On time, one way travel lasts from 2 to 3 hours.
Now you can tell in more detail about whatis the island of Ricorda. First of all, it is divided into 2 parts: the one that is large, called the northern, and the small - the southern one. They are connected together by a small isthmus, the width of which is 300 meters. There are no people on the island, it is considered uninhabited.
But the nature here is excellent. The greater part of the island is covered with a forest consisting of lime and oak. In addition to them, rosehips, barberry, Amur grapes, actinidia and much more grow here.
Among the animal kingdom, you can meet snakes, races, Far Eastern toads, foxes, raccoon dogs, and seals are also often found. Of the birds here are found golden eagles, cormorants, hoopoes, gulls, frigates and others. In general, there is definitely something to see on the island of Ricorda.
