To facilitate car parking, you canpurchase a special device - parking radar. It automatically detects the distance to obstacles before and behind the machine, signals the presence of side interference. This device will also be useful when traveling on narrow passages, allowing you to better navigate in space.

Parking radars consist of an electronic unit,which is installed in the car interior, and sensors that are installed on the bumpers of the car (some parking sensors are mounted inside the headlights). There are radar models that have two, three, four, six or eight sensors. Information from them comes to the display, which displays the distance to various obstacles in the form of numbers or light and sound indication.

When the car is reversing the radarwarns not only about the approach of large objects, but can "see" the bars and borders, which is useful when parking in the dark. Using such a system can prevent damage to your car or someone else's car. They

Sensors located on the rear bumper are switched on automatically when the car starts to reverse, on the front bumper, they are activated when the brake is pressed (so that they do not turn on each time the brakes are applied, some models have a forced-on button).

The action of the parking radar is based ondetermining the distance using ultrasound. These devices are able to detect the presence of obstacles at a distance of 20 centimeters to 2 meters. If the system uses

parking sensors in sufficient quantity (fourand more), then dead zones are excluded. If the sensors are two, then they may not see the thin objects that are on the edges of the perception zones. They differ in price (some models are 3-4 times more expensive than others with a similar number of sensors) and design. The characteristics and tones differ somewhat. When choosing a model, choose a model with audio signals that will not irritate you greatly - when performing complex maneuvers you need a calm state. Parking sensors can be selected in the tone of the car or repainted before installation.

Parking sensors are superimposed or crashed intobumpers, and optical and sound alarms are installed on the dashboard. Some drivers prefer to install them behind the rear seats on the shelf, so it was convenient to navigate, sitting in a half-turn when parking. The parking sensors can be installed on any service station.

These devices are tested at low and high temperatures, which is relevant for Russia's difficult climatic conditions. Parking sensors are tested at -20 ^aboutC and at +80 ^aboutC, they are operated in conditions of high humidity, dust and pollution.

The system of secure car parking is ofteninstalled at the plants. The first of them appeared at the very beginning of the 90s on the cars of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi. Today, appliances are becoming more popular: for parking in major cities, supercharging and super vision are required, which becomes real with this device.
