Every year during the spring or autumnappeals, along with the situation when young men who reached the age of conscription are shirking from the army, another problem is revealed - the state of health of those who, in accordance with the current legislation, are sent to urgent military service.
To date, the conditions of the army servicemuch more democratic than five or six years ago. Despite the fact that thanks to modern technology, considerable physical exertion is being removed from the soldiers' shoulders, they want healthy and strong draftees on airfields and ships, in regiments and battalions. But, unfortunately, the draft commissions do not observe a clear improvement in the health of future soldiers.
The medical commissions note that the main partillnesses of conscripts who were recognized as temporarily unfit or completely unsuitable for military service are diseases of the musculoskeletal system, which constitute about 30% of cases. Much less young people who have reached the age of conscription, are ill with diseases of the digestive or cardiovascular systems, as well as mental illnesses.
All of the above categories of diseases are notallow young men who have health problems to go to both urgent and contractual service. Therefore, the problem of replenishing the army ranks with recruits remains relevant, despite the increase in this year's financing of the army.
However, there is no reason to assume that the highthe percentage of young men unsuitable for military service will be the reason for changing its terms. This was repeatedly spoken by representatives of the Ministry of Defense. This problem takes place, therefore, it must be solved both by state bodies and public organizations by forming in society priorities for a healthy lifestyle, military-patriotic education in higher education institutions and schools, improving the quality of medicine, etc. Activities in all of the above areas are gaining today turnover, therefore in the near future there should be positive results.
Intimidating boys from childhood, the army, alllegal and illegal ways to help them avoid service, parents make an irreparable mistake. When the conscription age approaches, it is not necessary to say that the society in these cases receives full-fledged defenders of the Fatherland. Some "caring" parents even ascribe to their son any non-existent disease, others do not treat the chronic illnesses discovered in the child on time, delaying treatment until the draft age is over. They hope that chronic illnesses in due time will allow their grown-up son to avoid urgent service. To the sad consequences lead and false, all the truths and untruth obtained information. A little later, young people will face more than once the denial of employment, especially if the cover from the army were mental illness.
Loving parents should remember that the draftage in the Russian Federation exists for everyone, and their children should not shy away from military service and take illegal actions to delay the call or even get rid of the army - this threatens with criminal responsibility. According to the decision of the conscription commission, materials concerning such conscripts are sent to the investigative authorities in accordance with the article "On Military Duty and Military Service". As evasion from military service, the actions of our compatriots of military age are considered that for no apparent reason are sent to the military registration and enlistment office, deliberately injure themselves, use false documents, and also use other illegal methods, without finding or not having legal reasons to get rid of conscription into the army.
Today, most countries of the world are obliged to servein the army of persons who have long celebrated the thirtieth anniversary. In our own country they decided to increase the conscription age to 30 years. Such a proposal was put forward by Colonel-General V. Smirnov, Chief of the Main Organizational-Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff, at a meeting of the Federation Council that was devoted to the legislative regulation of military duties in the territory of Russia. He suggests that the question of postponement of service during studies in higher education institutions be considered. V. Smirnov believes that in the event of a call after the first or second year, the young man does not lose anything in the case of conscription, because such a practice has taken place before. At the same time, students go on academic holidays.
