Ointment Sinaflan - recommendations for use

Ointment Sinaflan belongs to the group of topicalglucocorticosteroids. The main active substance in this preparation is fluocinolone acetonide. This substance is obtained in a synthetic way, it has pharmacological activity, which is similar to glucocorticosteroids. Ointment Sinaphlan, more precisely, each of its molecules, in its composition has two additional fluorine atoms, due to this there is a decrease in local absorption and its anti-inflammatory effect is enhanced. The main active substance of this drug has a high glucocorticoid activity and almost no mineralocorticoid action. With topical application, Ointment Sinaphlan has antiallergic, antipruritic and anti-inflammatory effects, in addition, this drug activates local vasodilation.

The action of this drugmeans there is a process of inhibition of phospholipase A2. The activity of this enzyme is suppressed and, thus, the conversion of arachidonic acid to its pharmacologically active form is prevented. Due to this effect, the number of leukotrienes and prostaglandins decreases, which are the main mediators of inflammation.

Due to the fact that the release is reducedhistamine, ointment Sinaphlan causes oppression of the development of the hypersensitivity reaction. After using Sinaflana, the risk of the emergence and development of exudative reactions is significantly reduced, because the lumen of the vessels is narrowing. Also, this drug reduces the synthesis of protein and collagen deposits.

Ointment is applied topically, it penetrates wellthrough the stratum corneum of the epidermis and accumulates in the dermis. This drug is not biotransformed in the skin. It should be noted that systemic absorption in adolescents and children is significantly higher than in adults.
