"Suprax" for children is an antibiotic with a wide spectrum of action. The active substance of this drug is cefixime, which belongs to cephalosporins.

"Suprax" for children is represented by two dosage forms: capsules and granules for the preparation of a suspension that is administered orally. This drug has a bactericidal property.

Supraks for children breaks the normalformation of the bacterial cell wall. It acts on gram-negative and gram-positive anaerobes and aerobes, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is not destroyed by beta-lactamases. Has a high sensitivity to Proteus mirabilis, Pasteurella multocida, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus agalactiae, Haemophilus influenzae Streptococcus pyogenes, Salmonella spp, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Shigella spp, Klebsiella pneumoniae and so on.
