The medicine "Tonzilotren" instruction characterizesas a homeopathic drug, intended for use in inflammatory processes in the tonsils. Active components: atropine sulfate, potassium bichromate, sulfuric liver calcium, silicic acid, dichloride mercury.

Atropine sulphate has an effect similar toaction of belladonna. This component (atropine sulfate) is used in the acute phase of inflammation, accompanied by swelling, fever, erythema, pain (eg, in angina).

Calcined sulfuric liver is used whenrecurrent and neglected conditions, complicated by abscesses and suppuration. This component is recommended for abscesses in tonsils with purulent contents. High doses of calcified sulfuric liver contribute to a rapid relief of the condition in subacute and acute inflammation of the chronic course, as well as in the lymphatic ring in the tonsils and pharynx.

Potassium dichromate is indicated for inflammatory processes in the nasopharynx complicated by difficulty swallowing, redness, deep circular suppuration.

Silicic acid (water-containing anhydride)recommended for purulent inflammation. The mechanism of the effect of this component is based on stimulating the defense system in both acute and neglected pathology, with relapses and chronic processes. Silicic acid helps to strengthen the body's resistance.

Dioiodide mercury (mercuric iodide (II)) exerts ainfluence mainly on mucous membranes, especially in the throat and mouth. Children from one year to 12 years are prescribed a pill every two hours (no more than eight times a day) in the first two days, then - on a tablet three times a day. Treatment of chronic tonsillitis and hypertrophyThe pharyngeal tonsils are carried out for six to eight weeks. Dose in this case for patients with twelve years - one or two tablets in three divided doses per day, patients from one year to 12 years - on a tablet three times a day.
