What is the Valsalva trial? The process by which a deliberate exhalation takes place. The mouth and nasal passages are closed, so that the necessary tension of the abdominal muscle and thoracic cavity occurs. This method is named after the famous Italian anatomist. But for what purpose does this procedure, known today as the Valsalva trial, serve?

As can be seen, the Valsalva trials are used for a specific purpose, namely: to assess the probability of a sudden fatal outcome in the event of an infarction, by conducting a special test. In this case, the heart rate is measured, the variability of the rhythm is estimated. If the result is a low rate, then the risk of sudden death is very high.
