Subcutaneous mite

Often a person has attacks of inexplicableitching in the scalp or on the face. In general, many people associate this condition with the manifestation of allergy or stress. However, in cases of increased intensity of pruritus, accompanied by acne and scaling, demodecosis takes place. This disease provokes a subcutaneous tick.

In fact, the itching on the skin is allergicreaction to the results of vital activity of this microscopic parasite. A subcutaneous tick in a person settles in the follicles of the scalp, eyebrows, and eyelashes. Parasites even spread to the ducts in the sebaceous glands.

The initial stages of demodectic are not differentseverity of symptoms. The disease becomes unbearable in the case of a weakened state of the body, caused by stress or disease. Against the background of a decrease in immunity, the subcutaneous tick penetrates deeply into the skin layers, causing severe inflammation. On the face of its manifestations may look like a protruding subcutaneous mesh or exacerbation of acne. Visible symptoms are accompanied by a continuous itching, usually worse after washing in cold water, drinking alcohol or applying cosmetics. It should be noted that acne only contributes to the activation of the parasite. The subcutaneous mite affects around the eye area, the forehead area and around the mouth. There are seasonal exacerbations of demodicosis. As a rule, the microscopic parasite is activated in the spring and autumn periods.

Disease, in view of its unoriginalitysymptoms, it is very problematic to recognize. It is possible to suspect demodicosis in view of factors contributing to the activation of an already existing disease or infection. So, for example, if an animal has demodicosis in the house, then it is possible that its owners have long been carriers of a microscopic parasite. At the same time, increasing its influence on the skin condition can provoke chronic or severe stress, pregnancy, hormonal therapy, a violation in the work of the sebaceous glands. A subcutaneous mite can get to you and in the hairdresser when you use unprocessed tools during a haircut.

After a certain time has elapsed from the momentcontact with the source of the disease, the first symptoms appear in the form of itching. The sensation is not accompanied by any redness or flaking. Very often, carriers ignore symptoms, while demodecosis begins to progress, causing serious mental and physical experiences. In many cases, the disease is noted in the whole family, which is due to its easy spread during household contacts. Promoting a deeper penetration of the microscopic parasite can squeeze out acne, in particular at home without the use of an antiseptic.

For a precise diagnosis of demodicosis, a special method of investigation is used, which is a laboratory analysis of scraping from an inflammation affected skin area.

Treatment of subcutaneous mites can be sufficientlong, sometimes last for several years. Given that the disease progresses in the presence of other skin ailments and weakened immunity, therapeutic measures should include the prevention of exacerbations of skin diseases, enhance immunity and get rid of a microscopic parasite.

To destroy it, use a variety of ointments(Sulfur, Wilkinson's ointment), suppressing the activity of the tick. Particularly severe cases suggest an intensification of the therapeutic effect by the course of antibiotics and physiotherapy procedures. It is also recommended to adhere to a special diet, in which there must necessarily be vegetables, lactic products, fruits.
