Minerals of the Novosibirsk regionare quite numerous: on the whole territory 83 deposits of 523 already explored are exploited. Here there is coal - and coking, and high-quality anthracite, there are refractory clays. A lot of peat, but it is not produced yet. There are oil, gas, non-ferrous metals and gold.
Only in the Gorlovsky basin it is exploredhigh-quality anthracites in almost a billion tons, and forecasts are even more optimistic - 5.6 billion tons. Two more coal-bearing basins - Doroninsky and Zavyalovsky, where coal is also very much. Since 2007, Novosibirsk coal is explored and developed under the licenses of OOO Best and OAO Region-Oil. The minerals of the Novosibirsk region are for the most part conserved and are waiting for the development of industry to begin production.
Deposits of anthracite coal in GorlovskyBasin is the only raw material base for all the eastern regions of Russia, since this raw material is necessary for the electrode industry. The largest Russian plant is NovEZ (Novosibirsk Electrode Plant). Such coal for the enterprise is extracted by CJSC "Siberian Anthracite". The remaining deposits of minerals in the Novosibirsk region, concerning coal, are not developed so widely.
Seven oil fields are open innorth-western regions, but they are post-operationally postponed, despite the fact that the mineral resources of the Novosibirsk region are abundant there. List of deposits:
One field - Veselovskoye -gas condensate. All the oil, explored in the region, is of high quality, close to Brent brand. The occurrence of the most productive layers - an average of two and a half thousand meters. The largest deposit is Verkh-Tarskoye, where there are more than sixty percent of all oil that is in the region. Only two are exploited - Maloych and Top-Tarskoe, where the projected reserves are more than one hundred and thirteen million tons.
The Novosibirsk region was lucky with peat reserves -they are more than seven billion tons, but the costs of extraction and processing are too high, therefore, peat deposits are almost not developed, most likely - so far.
A fairly large ore deposit of non-ferrousmetals is found in the Novosibirsk region, there are approximately 1.7 million tons of titanium dioxide and 7.2 million tons of zirconia. The exploration and development of the Filippovsky site (Ordynsky zirkon-ilmenite placer) is carried out.
Gold in the Novosibirsk region for industrialthere are not many measures - one ore deposit and twenty-four loose ones are estimated at only seventeen tons. Both types of deposits - both alluvial placers, and gold-bearing crusts of weathering - are suitable for open-pit mining. However, the gold-bearing minerals of the Novosibirsk region are not exhausted by them: on the territory there is a root gold - gold-quartz, gold-rare metal, gold-polymetallic, if we talk about ore-formation types.
It has been explored for about forty tons, according to forecasts fornorth-west of the Salair ridge (Yegoryevsky gilt area). Analysis of this resource base suggests that almost all placers have been worked out and developed, and further development of gold mining requires the search and evaluation of new deposits, which for sure there is. And, of course, you need to develop gold deposits of other industrial types. Moreover, mining enterprises are provided with work only for the next few years, further prospects for the raw materials base are very small.
Highly decorative marble and other expensiveThe facing stones of increased demand in the amount of eight and a half million square meters contain minerals of the Novosibirsk region. Names of deposits:
The fields are developed by Marble LLC.
It is difficult to list which mineralsthere are in the Novosibirsk region, as there are many, but not all of them will be developed. For example, two small-scale small deposits of tin - Barlakskoye and Kolyvanskoe - about six hundred tons in total are clearly unprofitable: the average content in tin-bearing placers of casserite is about half a gram per cubic meter. Cadastre records also hold two bauxite deposits - Oktyabrskoye and Novogodnee, where the balance of reserves - 2068 thousand tons. The reserves of aluminum in this ore are also small.
At the Chernorechenskoye field in Iskitimthere are reserves of cement raw materials: 88,900 tons of limestone on the Northern section, 2,880 tons of shale slate in the Shale area, 38,163 tons of the first class limestone and 223776 thousand tons of the second section in the South. This deposit is developed by ZAO Chernorechensky Quarry.
Refractory and refractory clays are available onfour deposits: on Doroginsky, Evsinsky and Vassinsky - refractory, and on Obskoy - refractory. Here works LLC "Universal" (Ceramic products factory). Three small quartz sand deposits have already been taken into account, of which about 8150 thousand tons of the first category and 875 thousand tons of the second one. The right to use these subsoil resources is owned by OOO "Siberian Industrial Holding", which transferred this right to its subsidiary LLC "Mineral Group".
Deposits of building materials are usually the mostcommon. In the Novosibirsk region, eighteen deposits of only a building stone are taken into account, thirteen of them are exploited. Annual production is about two and a half million tons. These are diabases, porphyrites, granites, limestones and other rocks. Marble has already been mentioned above, as well as clay. In total, the entire raw-material base of minerals of general distribution here is more than sufficient for own needs and for neighboring areas. New geological searches and exploration of new sites of this raw material are being organized. Only construction sands will not be developed, although the deposits are rich. Reasons for environmental protection, as all deposits of construction sand are in the valley and the riverbed of the Ob River.
In the region there are very large water resources: mineral, thermal and fresh water are extracted from ten thousand wells in the amount of more than half a million cubic meters daily. The forest fund of the Novosibirsk region totals 4,490,000 hectares, including coniferous species growing on the territory of 977,300 hectares. The general stock of wood of the main forest-forming species can be proud - it is estimated at 278.8 million cubic meters.
