The territory of the Russian Federation is washed by three oceans. All the seas of Russia, the list of which is given in the text of the article, are interesting and special in their own way. All of them are unique and original.
The largest country on the planet is associated with threeoceans through 12 seas, both internal and marginal. One sea of Russia has no direct connection with the World Ocean (except for the connection through the Volga-Don Canal) - this is the Caspian Sea, which is without drainage.

The seas from the Atlantic Ocean basin are fighting against the western shores of Russia. From the north it is the Baltic Sea, in the south - the Azov and the Black.
Russia's coastline along the Atlantic seasis about 900 km. The Baltic Sea area covers the Leningrad and Kaliningrad regions. The Black and Azov Seas wash the shores of the Rostov Region, the Krasnodar Territory and the Crimea.
Some of the seas of Russia (listed above) belong to the basin of the Arctic Ocean. There are six of them: five of them are marginal (Chukchi, Kara, Laptev, East Siberian, Barents) and one internal (White).
